A child’s education can be greatly enhanced by their parents’ involvement in their lives and at their school. At GMIS we have a wonderful parent network – parents who prioritize their children’s learning, parents who take time to nurture relationships with other parents, and parents who wish to be a part of the daily routine at GMIS – from helping with snacks to being a class room parent to supporting another family in need.

2017 was a milestone year! GMIS celebrated its 10th Anniversary!

It has been wonderful to witness the GMIS Parent Organization (GPO) evolve over the years, from an outgrowth of parent desire to communicate more effectively with the administration to the robust fundraiser that we see today. The GPO works thoughtfully with the Principal, Vivi Teng, teachers and staff to support school development that continues to nurture and grow our community.
