Cheng Laoshi

Cheng Laoshi is originally from China, where she grew up in a bilingual environment. She attended various colleges to gain knowledge of early childhood development and obtain her Associate Teacher Permit. Cheng Laoshi furthered her education by taking different teaching workshops, including the Assistants’ Workshop organized by the Association Montessori Internationale – USA. She worked in a bilingual Montessori school for 27 years teaching children from ages 3 months to 6 years old with trained Montessori guides. These experiences allowed her to acquire and practice Montessori philosophy in the environment.
