Vita Hsieh, Director of Early Start Music and the founder of Kids Go Mandarin who develop the Mandarin music program for parents and young children focusing on early childhood Mandarin learning integrated with Orff approach and Kodály method. Vita is a true artist in music and art. Having earned her Master of Fine Art in Academy of Art University in San Francisco. She used to work in the movie industry at Disney and Sony as a digital painter. Later, Vita found her love as an early childhood music specialist, and studied Music Education with Kodály emphasis from Holy Name University in Oakland, CA. Vita is also an Orff Schulwerk Level lll certified teacher, from the San Francisco International Orff School.
Vita taught music and movement in preschools around the East Bay California and San Francisco. She leads an Orff ensemble for kids age 5 and up and was a choir teacher used to work in Piedmont Choir Girl Training 1. Vita is now also the children’s chorus assistant director in California Revels. Vita truly believes in studying Mandarin music, children will grow with a stronger sense of cultural heritage and identity.
